Dan Matthews


After earning his J.D. Dan began working at the law frin of Kimball, Parr, Crockett and Waldoups in Salt Lake City. Not long after that he moved to Heber City to practice with his father-in-law and was shortly after asked to join the Wasatch County Attorney’s Staff, of which he served as the Deputy County Attorney. Afterward he became the County Attorney and served as chief prosecutor and civil attorney for Wasatch County. He oversaw the establishment and development of several special service districts and served as general manager and attorney for up to six of these districts in Wasatch County. He worked in this capacity for approximately 16 years, overseeing the financing and construction of over $200 million worth of water infrastructure. Dan has extensive experience working in land-use development and water projects in Heber Valley and Wasatch County.
